Mesh Flush Ceiling Light 20cm - Smoke

Description

Description
Mesh is a ceiling light in smoke. A squat smoked glass ellipsoid, much wider than it is tall, with a grid pressed into the glass so a mesh of soft squares shows across the surface. The tint is a cool grey, clear enough that the lamp inside shows through as a warm core. It sits directly under a shallow black drum that holds it to the ceiling, so the fitting reads as a dark cap over a broad grey belly. There is no flex and no drop. The form is low and wide and sits close against the plaster. It measures 20cm across.

Mounted flush it clears a doorway and a low ceiling, so a corridor, a landing or a small bedroom is its territory, and it lights the whole room evenly rather than pooling on one surface. It is the light you put in first and stop noticing, which is the point of a flush fitting: it does the general lighting so the lamps in the room can do the rest.

The holder is G9 and takes up to 28W. It is rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms.
