Norette Ceiling Fan - Black

Description

DescriptionThe Norette is a three-blade ceiling fan in matt black, with long, swept blades that curve out from a single central hub, a short downrod and a neat canopy at the ceiling. The body is ABS, a tough, lightweight plastic, and the fan measures 132cm across the blades and stands 28.5cm tall. It is a fan only, with no light fitted, and it runs on 220-240V, 50Hz mains. Its IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.
With a diameter of 132cm, it is sized for a living room, a main bedroom or a generous open-plan space rather than a box room. Because it works overhead, it takes nothing from the floor, and the matt black finish draws a clean, graphic line against a pale ceiling, much as a dark picture frame does on a light wall. Five speeds let you choose anything from a gentle stir of air on a mild evening to a stronger breeze on the hottest days, and the remote control means you change the speed from the sofa or the bed without getting up to reach a switch. It suits anyone who wants to stay comfortable through a warm summer without giving floor space to a standing fan.
The fan is controlled by the remote control, which comes in the box, and it is reversible, so you can change the direction the blades turn to suit the season. The matt black finish carries across the blades, the hub and the canopy alike, so the whole fan reads as one continuous form. The packed weight is 7.2KG. As a mains fitting wired into the ceiling, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download, so everything can be checked before the day of fitting.
