Scogliera-E Outdoor Wall Light - Black

Description

DescriptionThe Scogliera-E is a compact outdoor wall light in black, with a rounded-rectangle body that sends light both upwards and downwards across the wall. It stands 14cm high, measures 7cm in length and projects 9cm from the wall, so it sits neatly beside a front door without crowding the porch. The body is black plastic and the shade is clear plastic. It takes two GU10 bulbs of up to 5W each, and the bulbs are not included, which leaves you free to pick the tone of white you prefer. It is rated IP44, meaning it is protected from splashing water, so it lives happily outdoors on a house wall.
Fit one either side of the front door, or a single light beside a back door, a garage or a garden gate, and the up and down glow marks the entrance clearly after dark. Because the light spreads along the wall in two directions, a tiled or rendered surface picks up a soft pattern of light, while the black body keeps a low profile by day. It suits modern homes with clean lines and plain walls, and it is equally at home on a garden wall where rain and splashes are part of everyday life.
The light has no switch of its own; it is switched at the wall, so you control it from a wall switch just as you would a ceiling light indoors. It runs on a mains supply of 220-240V, 50/60Hz, and as a wired-in mains light it should be installed by a qualified electrician. Plastic does not rust, which suits a light that faces the weather in every season, and at 0.263KG packed it is easy to handle during fitting. The installation instructions are available as a download. When you buy bulbs, choose two GU10 bulbs of no more than 5W each.
