Saganto 1 Table Lamp - Brown

Description

DescriptionThe Saganto 1 table lamp pairs a brushed copper-toned drum shade with a slim stem and round base in brown steel. It stands 66cm tall and 35cm in diameter, with a base 23cm across, a generous size for a sideboard, a console or a roomy bedside table. The shade is plastic, finished in brown and copper tones. It takes a single E27 bulb of up to 60W, and the bulb is not included, which leaves the choice of brightness and warmth to you. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room away from steam and splashes.
Set it on a sideboard in the living room, a console in the hallway or a side table next to the sofa. The open drum lets light fall down across the surface and up across the wall, giving a warm pool of light at table height that is far kinder in the evening than a single ceiling light. Two make a handsome pair at either end of a sideboard or either side of a bed. The brown and copper tones sit happily beside walnut, oak, deep greens and warm greys, so it suits a traditional room as comfortably as a modern one.
The stem and round base are steel, finished in brown to match the darker tone of the shade. A cord switch sits on the lead, so you can switch the light without reaching under the shade. Packed, it weighs 4.226KG, and the installation instructions come as a download. When you choose a bulb, pick an E27 screw cap of 60W or less; a warm white bulb brings out the copper glow inside the shade, which suits a lounge or bedroom in the evening.
