Panderas Pendant Light - White & Silver

Description

DescriptionThe Panderas is a dome pendant light with a white steel shade and a silver interior, hung on a fine wire suspension from a white ceiling rose. The dome is 40cm across and 20cm deep, a generous size that gives a dining table or kitchen island a clear focal point without crowding the ceiling. It takes a single E27 bulb, a widely available screw-in size, and the bulb is not included, so you choose the brightness and colour of light that suit the room. We have no IP rating for this pendant, so we keep it to dry rooms indoors.
Over a dining table is where a dome like this earns its place: the shade directs light downwards onto the table, while the silver lining keeps the inside bright and catches the light. It works just as well hung above a kitchen island, a breakfast bar or in a hallway, and a pair or a row of them over a long table reads as one considered scheme. The white exterior sits quietly against a pale ceiling, so the shape does the talking rather than the colour, and the silver adds a cool, clean touch that suits modern and industrial kitchens alike.
The body is steel, which is strong and holds its shape, so the dome keeps a clean, even curve. It weighs 1.78KG and runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains, which suits a standard household supply. There is no switch on the light itself: it is switched at the wall, so it works from the switch you already have. As a wired-in mains light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. Choose your E27 bulb before fitting day and the pendant is ready to use from the first evening.

Frequently AskedCan I hang the Panderas pendant in a bathroom?
We would not, because we have no IP rating for this pendant, so we recommend it only for dry indoor rooms such as dining rooms, kitchens and hallways.
Is a bulb included?
No, the bulb is not included. The pendant takes one E27 screw-in bulb, so you can pick the brightness and light colour you prefer.
How big is the dome shade?
The dome is 40cm in diameter and 20cm deep, which makes it a good size above a dining table or a kitchen island.
What colour is the inside of the shade?
The outside of the shade is white and the inside is silver, which gives a bright, clean look when you glance up at the lit pendant.
Does the light have its own switch?
There is no switch on the pendant itself. It is switched at the wall, so it runs from your existing light switch once fitted.
What material is the shade?
The body is steel in a white finish with a silver interior, and it weighs 1.78KG, a figure worth knowing before it goes on the ceiling.
