Flow LED Floor Lamp - Brass

Description

Description
The Flow is a 145cm brass floor lamp built around a slender 1.6cm metal column with an integrated 25W LED light source at the top. The LED offers adjustable colour temperature from 3000K warm white through to 6000K cool white, controlled via an inline dimmer switch on the cable, allowing the lamp to shift from warm ambient light in the evening to brighter, cooler task light during the day.

Designed as directed task lighting for reading corners, beside sofas, or next to desks in home offices, the Flow's narrow column takes up minimal floor space while delivering concentrated downward light from the head. The cylindrical brass base provides stability without the footprint of a traditional tripod or weighted disc, making it suited to tight spaces between furniture or against walls where a wider base would intrude.

The brass finish is a warm golden tone that sits between polished and satin, with enough sheen to catch light without creating hard reflections. The minimal profile means the lamp reads more as a vertical accent than a statement piece, pairing well with mid-century, contemporary and Scandinavian interiors where clean lines and functional forms dominate. The integrated LED removes the need for separate bulbs and the IP20 rating confirms indoor-only use.

Frequently Asked
How do you adjust the colour temperature and brightness?

The Flow uses an inline dimmer switch on the cable that controls both colour temperature and brightness. Rotating the dimmer changes the light output, while a separate control cycles through colour temperatures from 3000K warm white to 6000K cool white.

What footprint does the base require?

The cylindrical brass base measures approximately 10cm in diameter, giving the lamp a minimal footprint suited to tight spaces beside furniture or against walls. The 1.6cm column adds negligible width above the base.

Is the LED replaceable?

The 25W LED is integrated into the lamp head and is not user-replaceable. Maytoni LEDs are rated for approximately 30,000 hours of operation, which translates to around 10 years of typical domestic use at 8 hours per day.

Can it be used as reading light?

Yes. The downward-directed light from the head and the ability to adjust both brightness and colour temperature make the Flow well-suited to reading positions beside armchairs or sofas. The 6000K setting provides cooler, brighter light for concentrated tasks.
