Macchioni LED Flush Ceiling Light - White

Description

DescriptionThe Macchioni is a round LED flush ceiling light in white, 38cm in diameter and just 5cm high, so it sits close to the ceiling and suits rooms where a pendant would hang too low. The body pairs steel with plastic, and the white plastic diffuser carries a crystal effect, a fine sparkle that catches the light across its face. A broad white outer ring frames the diffuser and gives the fitting a crisp, finished edge. The LEDs are integrated, drawing 20W and giving 2,360 lumens, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in dry rooms.
We would fit it in a living room, bedroom, hallway, dining room or home office, anywhere a low ceiling or a clean look calls for a fitting that sits tight to the ceiling. Because the colour temperature moves from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K, one light gives a soft, cosy glow for a quiet evening and a brighter, whiter light for reading, homework or tidying. It is dimmable too, so you can set the level each moment needs, which suits a family that uses one room for several jobs through the day. You get that flexibility from a single ceiling light, with nothing extra cluttering the room.
A remote control comes in the box, and it handles the dimming and the colour temperature from wherever you are sitting. The remote runs on a CR2032 coin cell. There is no switch on the light itself: it is switched at the wall, and the remote does the rest. It weighs 2.039KG packed. As a hard-wired mains light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download. Before you order, measure the space and check that a 38cm round fitting suits the ceiling and the room.

Frequently AskedCan I use this ceiling light in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20, so it belongs indoors in dry rooms such as living rooms, bedrooms and hallways, away from water.
Does it come with a remote control?
Yes, a remote control comes in the box. It dims the light and changes the colour temperature, and it runs on a CR2032 coin cell.
How bright is the Macchioni?
The integrated LEDs draw 20W and give 2,360 lumens, and the light is dimmable, so you can bring it right down for a calmer evening.
What colour temperatures can it give?
It adjusts from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K, so the same fitting can give a cosy glow or a crisp, bright white.
How big is the light?
It is 38cm in diameter and 5cm high, a slim, round shape that keeps a low profile on the ceiling.
Does it take bulbs?
No separate bulbs are needed, because the LEDs are integrated into the fitting itself, so there is no lamp to change.
