DescriptionThe Hosmane is a black wall light with a rustic, industrial character. A slim steel wall bracket holds a square wooden arm, and the black cable is wound in loose loops around the timber before it drops to a black lampholder inside an open, faceted wire cage shade. It is 14cm long and 27.5cm high, and it projects 24cm from the wall, so allow for that depth in a narrow hallway. The light takes a single E27 bulb, which is not included, leaving the choice of bulb and the warmth of the light entirely yours. Its IP20 rating means it belongs indoors in dry rooms, so keep it away from bathrooms and out of the garden.
We like it most beside a bed, where it gives a reading light without taking up any room on the bedside table, and a pair either side of a bed or a sofa looks deliberate and balanced.
