Thin Ring LED Floor Lamp - Black

Description

DescriptionWe stock the Thin Ring in black as a slim reading and task floor lamp with an integrated 14W LED. A ringed reading head sits on a brass stem and houses the light source, giving 800 lumens of warm white (3000K) output in a focused 120 degree beam. It is built for directed light rather than filling a whole room, so it earns its place next to the spot where you actually read or work.

We like it in a reading corner, beside a sofa or in a home office, anywhere you want light aimed at a page, a desk surface or a wall without a fixed ceiling fitting. The head rotates and tilts on a concealed joint about a third of the way down the stem, so you can point the beam where you need it and move it again as you settle. A weighted circular base keeps it steady on a small footprint, which helps in tighter floor spaces next to furniture.

The lamp is made from aluminium with a black and brass finish, and the integrated LED means there is no bulb to replace. It is dimmable on a compatible wall dimmer (sold separately), so you can take it from the full 800 lumens down to a soft glow. Rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms, with a CRI of 80, and it runs on standard 220-240V AC mains.

Frequently AskedDoes it take a bulb?

No. The LED is integrated into the reading head, rated at 14W and 800 lumens of warm white 3000K light, so there is nothing to buy or replace.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED dims on a compatible wall dimmer (sold separately), so you can set it from full 800 lumens down to a soft glow.

Is it suited to reading and task lighting?

Yes. The head rotates and tilts on a concealed joint, and the 120 degree beam concentrates light on a page, desk or wall rather than scattering it across the room.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It is best kept to living rooms, reading corners and home offices.
