Aros Ring LED Ceiling Light - Copper

Description

DescriptionWe stock the Aros Ring as a low-profile LED ceiling light for rooms where a hanging pendant will not fit. It has a curved aluminium body finished in copper with an integrated 12W LED built in, so there is no bulb to buy or replace. The light source gives 689 lumens of warm white (3000K) illumination through the underside of the fitting, spread across a wide 180 degree beam angle for even, glare-free light with no visible bulb.

Because it sits close to the ceiling with very little projection, we like the Aros Ring for hallways, landings, bedrooms and home offices, and for any room with a standard or low ceiling where headroom is tight. The copper finish over the aluminium body adds a warm metallic tone that needs no polishing to keep looking good. With an IP20 rating it is suited to normal dry rooms rather than showers or areas that get splashed.

The Aros Ring runs on standard UK 220-240V mains and wires in at a ceiling rose, so it fits straight into most existing lighting points. It is not dimmable, giving a single full-brightness setting, and the 80 CRI rating covers everyday tasks and general living. The lightweight aluminium construction keeps the load low for fixing to plasterboard or solid ceilings, and it carries a G energy rating.

No. The LED is built into the fitting and gives 689 lumens of warm white (3000K) light, so there is nothing extra to buy and no bulb to change later.

Is it dimmable?

No. The Aros Ring runs at a single full-brightness level and cannot be dimmed, so we would not pair it with a dimmer switch.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

It carries an IP20 rating, which suits dry rooms such as hallways, bedrooms and home offices. We would not fit it in a shower area or anywhere it might be splashed.

How does it fix to the ceiling?

It wires in at a standard ceiling rose on 220-240V UK mains and sits close to the ceiling with minimal projection. The aluminium body is light enough for plasterboard or solid ceilings.
