Valmontone LED Wall Light - White

Description

DescriptionThe Valmontone is a compact cube of an LED wall light, 10cm wide, 10cm tall and standing 10cm out from the wall. Its aluminium body comes in a clean white finish with a fine, lightly textured surface, and the base is left open so the light spills out beneath the cube. Inside sit two integrated 1.5W LEDs, each giving 200 lumens at 3000K, a warm light that feels comfortable in a home. Because the LEDs are integrated, there is no separate bulb to buy. It is rated IP20, and that settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms, well away from water.
Its small size makes it an easy choice beside a bed, where a pair either side of the headboard gives a soft glow for winding down without the main ceiling light. It suits landings, hallways and living rooms too, anywhere a wall wants gentle background light rather than a bright working light. The plain white cube blends into pale walls and draws a neat, modern shape against darker paint. There is no switch on the light itself, so it is switched at the wall, which makes it a good fit for a room where you already have a wall switch by the door.
Aluminium is a light, sturdy metal, and it weighs 0.383KG packed, so it puts little load on a wall. It runs on 220-240V mains at 50/60Hz and carries an E energy class. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. The LEDs are not dimmable, so we suggest running it from a standard on and off wall switch rather than a dimmer.
