Trosvelle Table Lamp - Black

Description

DescriptionThe Trosvelle is a black steel table lamp with a rounded cage shade of slim vertical slats, raised on a three-legged tripod base. It stands 43.5cm tall, the shade measures 20cm in diameter and the splayed legs make a base 22.5cm wide, so it fits neatly on a sideboard, a deep windowsill or a bedside table. It takes a single E27 bulb up to a maximum of 40W, and the bulb is not included, which leaves the choice of light entirely yours. With an IP20 rating it belongs indoors, in a dry room away from steam and splashes.
Because the shade is open, the bulb itself becomes part of the design, glowing through the slats rather than hiding behind fabric, so a clear filament bulb suits it particularly well. That makes it a good choice for a living room shelf, a hallway console or a bedroom, wherever you want a soft, decorative glow at eye level rather than a bright reading light. The black finish and slender tripod legs sit easily alongside pale walls, warm wood and simple modern furniture, and the lamp looks just as considered switched off as it does lit. It suits anyone who likes a little industrial character without anything heavy or fussy.
The body is steel, finished in black, and the lamp is worked by a cord switch on the cable, so you can turn it on and off without reaching behind the shade. It runs on a 220-240V, 50/60Hz supply and weighs 1.459KG packed, light enough to move from room to room as your needs change. When you choose a bulb, any E27 lamp of 40W or less will do, and the installation instructions are available as a download should you want them to hand. A soft, dry cloth run over the slats now and then keeps the black steel looking its best.
