Solo 1 Touch Table Lamp - Bronze & Walnut

Description

DescriptionThe Solo 1 is a touch table lamp in a bronze and walnut finish, with a domed shade of white satin glass sitting over a tapered wooden stem and a round steel base. It stands 35cm tall, with a shade 26cm wide and a base 13cm wide, so it fits a bedside table neatly while the broad shade keeps the bulb out of sight. It takes one E14 bulb of up to 40W, which is not included. Rated IP20, it belongs indoors in a dry room.
Its natural home is the bedside, a side table next to an armchair, a hallway console or a desk, anywhere you want a soft pool of light at low level rather than a bright overhead one. The touch dimmer is the part we like most: there is no small switch to hunt down in the dark, and a touch sets the light to the level you want, turned up while you read or brought down low as you wind down for the night. The bronze and walnut pairing has a warm, traditional look that sits comfortably alongside wooden furniture, cream walls and soft textiles in a living room or bedroom.
The body pairs bronzed steel with a walnut-toned wooden stem, and the satin glass shade is topped with a small bronze cap that matches the base. Since the lamp is dimmable through its touch dimmer, we would choose a dimmable E14 bulb to get the most from every setting. It runs on mains power at 220 to 240V, 50/60Hz, and its packed weight is 1.73KG. Glass wipes clean with a soft, dry cloth, ideally once the lamp has cooled, and the installation instructions are available as a download.
