Norette Ceiling Fan with Light - Black

Description

DescriptionThe Norette is a ceiling fan with an integrated LED light, finished in matt black from the ceiling canopy to the blade tips. It measures 132cm across and 29.5cm high. The body is ABS, a tough and lightweight plastic, and the broad, gently twisted blades sweep out from a slim central housing. Beneath them sits a round, milky acrylic diffuser over the LED, which runs at 19W and gives 2,300lm, so the fan can serve as the main light in the room. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in a dry room.
We would put it in a living room, bedroom, dining room or home office, anywhere you want moving air on a warm day and good light all year from the same ceiling point. With a 132cm span it needs a reasonably open ceiling, so measure the room and check the headroom before you order. Matt black reads crisply against a pale ceiling and sits comfortably beside wood, leather and warm neutrals. The light offers 3000K, 4000K and 5000K colour temperatures: a warm light for evenings, a neutral light for daytime and a cooler, crisper light for reading or working.
With 5 speeds, you can choose anything from a gentle drift of air to a brisk breeze, and because the fan is reversible, the blades can push air downwards for cooling in summer or run the other way to move air more softly in cooler months. The fan is controlled by the remote, which comes in the box. The light is not dimmable, so the colour temperature is how you set the mood. It runs on 220-240V at 50Hz and carries energy class E. As a wired mains fitting, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download. The packed weight is 8.05KG, so have a helping hand ready for fitting day.
