Norette Ceiling Fan with Light - Black & Walnut

Description

DescriptionThe Norette is a three-blade ceiling fan with a light set into its centre, pairing a matt black body with walnut-effect blades. It measures 132cm across and 29.5cm high, so it is worth checking the clear space around the ceiling point before you order. The body is ABS, and the integrated LED sits behind a milky acrylic diffuser, giving 2,300 lumens from 19W with no bulb to buy or change. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors and dry, in a living room or dining room rather than a bathroom or a covered porch.
We like the Norette in living rooms and dining rooms, where it does two jobs from one ceiling point: it keeps the air moving on a warm afternoon and lights the table in the evening. It also frees the floor space a standing fan would otherwise take. The walnut-effect blades bring a warm, earthy tone that sits comfortably with wooden furniture, rattan and soft neutral walls, while the matt black motor housing and short downrod keep the outline crisp. For anyone who wants a cooler room without giving up a main light, it is a tidy answer.
There are five speeds, and the fan is reversible, so the blades can turn either way. The light offers three colour temperatures: 3000K for a warm light, 4000K for a neutral light and 5000K for a crisp, cool light. It is not dimmable, so choose the tone that suits the room rather than relying on a lower setting. A remote control comes in the box, so you can change the speed and the light from your chair. It runs on 220-240V, 50Hz, carries energy class E and weighs 7.9KG packed. As a wired-in ceiling fan, it should be installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download.
