Macchioni LED Flush Ceiling Light - Black & White

Description

DescriptionThe Macchioni is a round LED flush ceiling light in black and white, 38cm across and 5cm deep, so it sits close to the ceiling and suits rooms where headroom matters. A black ring frames a white crystal-effect diffuser, and a slim white rim runs around the outer edge, giving a crisp monochrome look. The body is steel and plastic, and the shade is plastic with a crystal effect that catches the light with a fine sparkle. The LEDs are integrated, drawing 20W and giving 2,360lm, a bright output for the main light in a bedroom or living room. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in dry rooms only.
Because it is so shallow, it works well in bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and home offices, and anywhere a pendant would hang too low. The colour temperature adjusts from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K, so you can have a cosy glow in the evening and crisp, clear light for reading or working during the day. It dims too, which lets one fitting cover the whole day, from bright light for cleaning to a gentle late-night setting. The black and white finish sits easily with modern and more traditional schemes, and the sparkle in the diffuser keeps it from looking plain when unlit.
We include a remote control in the box, and it handles the dimming and the colour temperature from the sofa or bed. The light has no switch of its own, so it is switched at the wall, and the remote takes a CR2032 battery. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains and carries energy class E. As a mains light wired into the ceiling, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. Packed, it weighs 2.018KG. Keep the remote somewhere handy, as it is how you reach the dimming and colour settings.
