Kyoto Ceiling Fan with Light 1.06m - White

Description

DescriptionA broad white disc that lights a room and keeps the air in it moving. The LED is built in and dimmed from the supplied handset, and it shifts across the tuneable white range from a soft warm glow to a bright cool light, so one fitting serves a slow evening and a working morning equally well. A DC fan sits within the same body, driven from that same remote, and the fitting spans 106cm across at its widest.
It earns its place in bedrooms and living rooms where a separate fan and a separate ceiling light would clutter the ceiling, and in home offices and garden rooms that grow warm through the summer. Being remote controlled, it is simple to adjust from a bed or a sofa without crossing the room. We would give it a room of decent size, since at this width it looks stranded in a box bedroom, and we like it best over a bed with the colour set warm and the fan turning gently.
The finish is plain white throughout, which lets it sit quietly against a white ceiling rather than pulling the eye upward. At 20W it asks very little for the light it returns. Cleaning needs no fuss: with the power off, lift the dust away with a dry microfibre cloth, sweep along the surface rather than scrubbing at it, and keep sprays and solvents well clear of the diffuser. It carries a five year warranty. With nothing decorative to work around and no lamps to change, it is a fitting you can largely leave to get on with the job.
