Description
The Bonn is a 200cm graphite bollard light with an integrated 25W LED module emitting 3000K warm white light through a rectangular vertical aperture. The metal frame forms a tall, narrow arch profile measuring 20cm wide by 6cm deep, with the LED module mounted inside the vertical slot. The IP65 rating seals the internals against dust and water jets, making the fitting suitable for year-round outdoor installation.
Designed for driveways, long pathways, commercial building exteriors and larger residential gardens, the 200cm height provides visibility from distance and distributes light down the pathway surface rather than into neighbouring properties. The 25W output and 3000K colour temperature deliver functional pathway illumination without the harsh glare of higher colour temperatures. The slim 6cm profile allows multiple bollards to be installed along narrow pathways without obstructing pedestrian flow.
The graphite powder-coated metal finish resists corrosion and weathering across UK coastal and urban environments. The rectangular aperture directs light forward and downward, reducing light spill into adjacent areas — useful where planning regulations or neighbouring properties require controlled light distribution. The integrated LED removes the need for bulb replacement and draws 25W at AC 220-240V, significantly lower energy consumption than traditional halogen bollard fittings.

Frequently Asked
What does the IP65 rating mean for outdoor use?
IP65 means the bollard is fully dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. It can withstand heavy rain, coastal spray and power-washing without water ingress into the electrical components. This makes it suitable for year-round outdoor installation in the UK climate.
How is the bollard installed and wired?
The Bonn requires a below-ground electrical supply cable run to each bollard position. A qualified electrician should install the bollard, connecting the AC 220-240V supply to the internal terminals and securing the base to a concrete foundation or ground spike. The product manual provides full installation guidance.
Can the LED be replaced if it fails?
The LED module is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of operation, which equates to around 8-10 years of typical evening use. The fitting carries a 3-year guarantee covering LED and electrical component failure.
What spacing is recommended between bollards?
For continuous pathway lighting, position bollards 3-5 metres apart depending on the width of the pathway and the level of illumination required. Wider pathways or areas needing higher light levels benefit from closer spacing. The 200cm height and 25W output provide adequate coverage for residential driveways and garden paths at 4-5m intervals.
