Seluci LED Flush Ceiling Light - Black

Description

DescriptionThe Seluci is a round LED flush ceiling light with a black steel body, a silver-tone band and a white diffuser. It measures 49cm across and just 8cm high. The shade is plastic in white and clear, and behind it sit four integrated LED lights, each rated at 10W and 1,150lm. Because the LEDs form part of the light, there is no bulb to source or replace. It carries an IP20 rating, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room, away from bathrooms and the weather.
Sitting close to the ceiling, it suits rooms where a hanging pendant would feel awkward: a hallway with a lower ceiling, a landing, a bedroom or a study. At 49cm wide it is also a generous size for the main light in a dining room or living room. The black rim and silver-tone band give the white diffuser a crisp outline, so the light reads as a neat circle against a pale ceiling. The monochrome look sits comfortably beside warm wood, grey walls or white paintwork. You gain plenty of light without anything hanging down into the room.
The remote control comes in the box and does most of the work. It dims the light and adjusts the colour temperature between a warm 3000K, for relaxed evenings, and a cool 6500K that suits reading or homework. The remote runs on two AAA alkaline batteries. There is no switch on the light itself, as it is switched at the wall, and it uses 220-240V mains power. As a wired-in light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. The packed weight is 2.22KG. Leave the light powered at the wall and keep the remote somewhere handy, such as a hallway shelf, so the light is always ready.

Frequently AskedCan the Seluci go in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20, which means it is for indoor rooms that stay dry, so we would not place it in a bathroom or outdoors.
Is the light dimmable?
Yes. The included remote control dims the light, and it also adjusts the colour temperature between a warm 3000K and a cool 6500K.
How bright is it?
It has four integrated LED lights, each rated at 10W and 1,150lm, and the remote dims them whenever you want a softer light.
What size is the ceiling light?
It measures 49cm across and 8cm high, so it sits close to the ceiling and suits rooms where a pendant would hang too low.
Does it need a bulb?
No bulb is needed. The LEDs are integrated into the light, so there is nothing extra to buy before it is installed.
Which batteries does the remote take?
The remote control runs on two AAA alkaline batteries, and it handles both dimming and the colour temperature settings.
