GU10 bulbs are easy to find and simple to swap, which keeps future changes quick.
A black downlight looks crisp and graphic against a white ceiling and almost disappears into a dark one. Set in a line along a hallway or landing, or spaced across a living room, bedroom or study, it gives even light without a pendant hanging into the room.
