Somorne Smart Colour Changing LED Flush Ceiling Light - White

Description

DescriptionThe Somorne is a broad, round flush ceiling light with a clean drum shape in white. It measures 57cm across and 15cm high, so it sits close to the ceiling and suits rooms where a pendant would hang too low. The body is steel and the shade pairs fabric with plastic, both in white, which keeps it quiet against a white or pale ceiling. Light comes from an integrated LED rated at 35W and giving 3,500lm, a strong output that makes it a good choice for the main light in a room. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms.
We would put it in a living room, bedroom, hallway or landing, anywhere one light has to cover busy mornings and quiet evenings alike. The white light adjusts from a warm 2700K for winding down to a crisp 6500K for reading or getting ready, and it dims, so a single fitting gives you bright and gentle light without a second lamp. It is also colour-changing (RGB), which lets a child's bedroom or a games room glow soft blue, green or pink whenever the mood suits. For anyone who wants one ceiling light to suit the whole day, that choice of settings is the real gain.
There is no switch on the light itself: it is switched at the wall, and the brightness, white tone and colour are then set in the app. It also works with a remote control, sold separately, which suits anyone who would rather not reach for a phone. It runs on 220-240V mains, and as a wired-in light it is installed by a qualified electrician. The installation instructions come as a PDF download, and the packed weight is 4.158KG, which is worth knowing when you plan the job.

It is 57cm across and 15cm high, a broad, shallow drum that sits close to the ceiling and suits rooms where a pendant would hang too low.
Can it change colour?

Does it come with a remote control?
