Gorbora 2 Light Outdoor Wall Light with Motion Sensor

Description

DescriptionThe Gorbora is a two-light outdoor wall light in brushed stainless steel, with a slim cylinder that throws light both up and down the wall and a motion sensor set into its backplate. It stands 21.5cm high and 6.5cm long, and projects 11cm from the wall, so it sits neatly beside a door frame without crowding it. Each of the two lights takes a GU10 bulb rated at 2.8W and gives 250 lumens through a clear glass shade. It is rated IP44, which means it is protected from splashing water and can live outdoors on a house wall.
We would put it beside a front or back door, along a side passage, by the garage or on a garden wall, anywhere you want light the moment someone arrives. The motion sensor switches the light on as you approach, which is handy when your hands are full of shopping or you are searching your pockets for keys. It also saves leaving a porch light burning all evening. Corner mounting is possible too, so it suits the outside corner of a house as well as a flat wall. The up and down beams draw two soft bands of light across render or brick, which gives a plain wall some shape after dark.
The body is stainless steel and the shade is clear glass. Stainless steel resists rust, which counts for a lot on a wall that takes the rain. It runs on mains power and weighs 0.779KG packed. As a wired-in mains light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. Our practical tip: mount it where a stepladder can reach comfortably, so changing a GU10 bulb later is a quick job.
