Calipso Ring LED Wall Light - White

Description

DescriptionWe stock the Calipso Ring in white as a wall light for hallways, stairwells and bedroom walls. It is built from fluted white aluminium with an integrated 24W LED, giving 1630 lumens of warm white light at 2700K, so there is no bulb to buy and nothing to replace once it is up.

We like it where you want a wall to earn its keep both as a light source and as a piece of the room. The fluted aluminium catches ambient light during the day and holds definition against darker walls, while the 36 degree beam concentrates the output for lighting artwork, texture or the floor below. The white finish sits cleanly against pale walls and reads well on deeper tones.

The LED runs on 220 to 240V mains and renders colour accurately at 90 CRI, which suits spaces where art or decorative pieces need true-to-life light. It is rated IP20 for indoor dry locations, so keep it to hallways, landings and bedrooms rather than bathrooms or outdoors. Please note it is not dimmable.

Frequently AskedDoes it need a separate bulb?

No. The LED is integrated, so the 24W source is built in and gives 1630 lumens of warm 2700K light straight out of the box, with nothing to buy or replace.

Is it dimmable?

No, this fitting is not dimmable. It runs at a fixed warm 2700K output, so we would not pair it with a dimmer switch.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outside?

No. It is rated IP20 for indoor dry locations only, so it is best kept to hallways, stairwells, landings and bedroom walls rather than bathrooms or outdoor spaces.

What colour and quality of light does it give?

It gives warm white light at 2700K with a 36 degree beam that concentrates the output downward. At 90 CRI it renders colours accurately, which helps when you are lighting artwork or textured surfaces.
