Trelbette Table Lamp - Black

Description

DescriptionThe Trelbette is a table lamp with a single round glass shade hanging from a slim black steel arm. The stand rises from a flat round base and curves over at the top, holding the globe forward of the upright rather than directly above it. The shade is vaporised glass in a copper colour, with a glossy, mirror-like surface that picks up the colours around it. The lamp stands 50.5cm tall, 21.5cm long and 15cm wide, on a round base 18cm in diameter. It takes an E27 bulb of up to 40W, and the bulb is not included. With an IP20 rating, it belongs indoors in dry rooms.
It is sized for a bedside table, a sideboard, a hall console or the corner of a desk, and the forward reach of the arm puts the light over the surface in front rather than behind the stand. The black frame and copper glass sit well with dark wood, warm metals and deep wall colours, and the mirrored shade adds a bright accent to a room before the lamp is lit. Once lit, the bulb shows through the glass, so the bulb you choose becomes part of the look. That suits anyone who wants a lamp that holds its own as decor during the day and earns its place in the evening.
The frame is steel finished in black, and the shade is vaporised glass with its copper colour. A switch on the cord lets you control the light without reaching round to the base. The lamp weighs 1.79KG packed and runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains. When you choose a bulb, keep to an E27 cap and no more than 40W, and since it shows through the glass, it is worth picking a shape you like. Fit your bulb, stand the lamp on a dry surface indoors and it is ready to light.
