Nilbine Table Lamp - Black

Description

DescriptionThe Nilbine Table Lamp is an open cage of black steel wire, bent into a faceted, gem-like shape and designed to lie on its side, with the bulb holder set into a tapered black cap at one end. Body and shade are both steel in a black finish, so the lamp reads as one clean outline. It measures 26.5cm in height and 17.5cm in diameter. It takes a single E27 bulb of up to 60W, and the bulb is not included, which leaves the choice of light to you. Its IP20 rating means it belongs indoors in a dry room, away from steam and splashes.
Because it rests on its side rather than standing upright, the lamp sits low on a coffee table, a sideboard, a bookshelf or a bedside table, where it draws the eye without blocking the view across the room. It suits a living room, a bedroom, a reading corner or a home office with an industrial or loft-style look, and it pairs well with dark metal furniture, warm timber and plenty of green plants. The cage leaves the bulb in full view, so we suggest a decorative filament bulb in amber glass to show the design at its best.
Steel is strong and rigid, which is why a wire cage like this one keeps its crisp angles, and the black finish runs across both the frame and the shade. A switch on the cord turns the lamp on and off without reaching behind furniture, and it runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains. The packed weight is 0.549KG, so it is light enough to carry from room to room. The installation instructions come as a download, and whenever you buy a bulb, choose an E27 one of 60W or less.
