Rida LED Flush Ceiling Light - White

Description

Description
The Rida is an LED flush ceiling light built from four overlapping rectangular frames in white-painted metal, with a matt acrylic diffuser set within the layered structure. The integrated 80W LED sits behind the acrylic and casts 3000K warm white light across the room without visible bulbs or fittings. The fitting projects 8cm from the ceiling surface and measures 78cm wide by 68cm deep.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or lower where a pendant would hang too low, the Rida suits bedrooms, home offices, hallways and living rooms needing general ambient light. The flush-mount design means the fitting sits close to the ceiling rather than hanging on a drop, making it suitable for spaces where headroom is limited. The 80W output provides enough brightness for a typical 15-20m² room.

The overlapping rectangular frames create a geometric pattern that adds visual interest to the ceiling plane while the white finish keeps the fitting neutral. The matt acrylic diffuser softens the LED output and prevents direct glare when viewed from below. The metal construction and acrylic panel give the fitting a combined weight suitable for standard plasterboard ceiling fixings, and the IP20 rating confirms it for dry interior use only.

Frequently Asked
Is the Rida dimmable?

The integrated LED is rated at 80W on 220-240V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility with this Maytoni LED driver.

What room size does it suit?

The 80W output provides general ambient light for a typical 15-20m² room with standard ceiling heights. Larger rooms or rooms requiring task lighting may benefit from additional fittings or supplementary lamps.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating confirms the fitting for dry interior spaces only. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher, depending on zone. The Rida is suitable for bedrooms, hallways, living rooms and home offices.

How is it fitted to the ceiling?

The fitting mounts directly to a standard ceiling rose or junction box and projects 8cm from the ceiling surface once installed. The metal frame and acrylic diffuser are suitable for plasterboard ceilings with appropriate fixings. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
