Ono 2 LED Wall Light - White

Description

DescriptionThe Ono 2 is a compact LED wall light in white aluminium. A round wall plate carries a short cylindrical body, with a clear lens at its top and another at its base, so the light leaves in two directions at once. It is 9cm in length and 8cm in height, and it comes 13cm out from the wall, a neat size that will not crowd a narrow hallway. Two integrated LEDs of 2.5W each give 250lm per light at 3000K, a warm light, and there are no bulbs to buy or change. It is rated IP20, and that settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms.
Because one lens points up and the other down, the Ono 2 washes the wall with two soft fans of light, one above the fitting and one beneath it, rather than shining straight into the room. That makes it a good choice for a hallway, a landing, a living room or a bedroom, where it gives gentle background light and a touch of pattern on a plain wall. A pair either side of a bed or a mirror works well, and a row along a corridor sets an even rhythm. The white body sits quietly against pale paintwork, so the light itself does the talking.
The body is aluminium, a light metal that does not rust, and both lenses are clear plastic. There is no switch on the light and it does not dim: it is switched at the wall, so it comes on and off with your usual light switch. It weighs 0.606KG packed. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. When you plan its height, leave room for both fans of light to spread across the wall.
