Description
The Nelson is a 30cm linear wall light with integrated 16W LED strips top and bottom, delivering 1080 lumens of combined up and down light through a white metal housing. The fitting includes CCT switching that allows selection between 2700K extra warm white, 3000K warm white, and 4000K cool white. The colour temperature is set using a switch on the fitting before installation.

Designed for hallways, staircases, bedrooms and living room accent lighting, the Nelson provides indirect wash light against the wall surface above and below the fitting rather than directing light into the room. The 305mm width and 46mm projection suit narrow hallway runs where a traditional wall light with a protruding shade would obstruct passage. Multiple units can be installed in a vertical or horizontal run to create a continuous lighting effect along a corridor or staircase wall.

The white powder-coated aluminium housing measures 305mm wide by 74mm high by 46mm deep, giving a low-profile rectangular form that sits close to the wall. The fitting weighs 800g and mounts to a standard UK back box or surface plate with two screws. The LED is non-dimmable and rated for 200-240V mains operation. The CCT switch is accessed before final installation, so the colour temperature choice should be made during fitting.

How is the colour temperature selected?

The CCT switch is located on the fitting itself and allows selection between 2700K, 3000K or 4000K before the final installation. Once the fitting is mounted and powered, the selected colour temperature remains fixed. It cannot be changed remotely or via a wall switch.

Is the Nelson dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates at full 1080lm output when powered. Attempting to use a dimmer switch may cause flickering or damage to the driver.

Can multiple units be installed in a run?

Yes. The 305mm width and low-profile design allow multiple Nelson fittings to be installed vertically or horizontally along a hallway or staircase wall, creating a continuous lighting effect. Each unit requires a separate power feed.
