Bubbles Table Lamp 18cm - Rose

Description

Description
Bubbles is a table lamp in rose. A large dusty rose glass ball standing upright in a low chrome cup, the glass clear rather than frosted so the lamp inside shows straight through as a bright coil. The pink is soft and even and tints whatever is behind it, mirroring a little at the shoulder. The base is a plain turned chrome cylinder, polished to a mirror finish and narrower than the glass above it. The ball is generous in size and reads as a sphere resting on a plinth. It measures 18cm across.

It is a lamp for a side table, a desk or a bedside, close enough to reach the switch from where you sit, and it lights the surface it stands on rather than the whole room. A pair either side of a bed or a sofa reads as deliberate where one alone reads as an afterthought, and two smaller lamps light a room more evenly than one large one.

The holder is E27 and takes up to 40W. It is rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms.
