Grilena Table Lamp - White

Description

DescriptionThe Grilena is a compact table lamp with a rounded, pebble-shaped ceramic base in glossy white, a short chrome stem and a white fabric drum shade. It stands 27cm tall and measures 15cm in diameter, while the base is 12cm across, so it sits comfortably on a bedside table or a narrow shelf where a larger lamp would crowd the space. It takes an E14 bulb of up to 40W, which you choose yourself as the bulb is not included. Rated IP20, it belongs indoors in a dry room, away from bathrooms and damp corners.
We think it suits a bedroom best, where its low height puts light at pillow level for reading late in the evening. It works just as well on a side table beside a sofa, a hallway console or a desk in a home office, and the all-white finish sits quietly with almost any colour scheme. Bought as a pair, two Grilena lamps make a tidy match either side of a bed. Fabric softens the light from the bulb, so you get a gentle, even glow rather than harsh glare.
The body is ceramic with a glossy white finish, and the drum shade is white fabric. A cord switch lets you turn it on and off without reaching beneath the shade. It runs on standard 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains, and the packed weight is 0.582KG, so it is easy to move between rooms. Ceramic wipes clean with a soft, dry cloth, and a soft brush lifts dust from fabric, so both parts stay bright with very little effort. The installation instructions come as a download, and once you have fitted an E14 bulb of up to 40W the lamp is ready to use.
