Tonezza 5 LED Downlight - White

Description

DescriptionThe Tonezza 5 is a round LED downlight with a white cast aluminium body and a clear glass cover over the light source, made to sit in the ceiling with only its slim white rim on show. The face is 9cm across and the downlight stands 12cm tall from rim to back. Light comes from integrated LEDs at 4000K, a neutral light that looks crisp and clean without the yellow cast of warmer lamps. We suggest it for dry rooms indoors, away from water and steam.
Neutral white light suits rooms where you want to see clearly and stay alert: a home office, a hallway, a landing, a dressing area or a living room with a modern feel. A few of these set in a row spread light across a ceiling without a shade hanging into the room, which keeps a low room feeling open and uncluttered. The white rim blends into a white ceiling, so the eye goes to the light rather than the fitting. There is no switch on the downlight itself; it works from your wall switch, so the room keeps one simple control.
The body is cast aluminium, and aluminium is a light metal that does not rust; the whole downlight weighs just 0.26KG. At the back, a finned black heatsink sits behind the rim and two spring clips grip the ceiling board to hold it flush. It needs a hole 8cm across and 13cm of depth behind the ceiling, so measure the void before you order. The LEDs are replaceable, so when they eventually reach the end of their life the fitting stays where it is and only the light source changes. As a wired-in ceiling light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download.

What colour is the light?
The integrated LEDs give neutral 4000K light that is clear and crisp, well suited to hallways, offices and working areas.
