Flermanne Table Lamp - Copper

Description

DescriptionThe Flermanne Table Lamp sets a black fabric drum shade, lined in copper, on a faceted wire-cage base of steel in a copper finish. The cage is built from open triangles and hexagons, so the base reads as light and airy rather than solid. The lamp stands 30.5cm tall, the shade is 16.5cm across and the base only 9.5cm across, which lets it sit happily on a narrow bedside table or a busy shelf. It takes one E14 bulb of up to 60W, and the bulb is not included, so the colour and strength of the light are yours to choose. With an IP20 rating it belongs indoors, in dry rooms.
We think it suits a bedroom, a desk or a side table in the living room, anywhere a small lamp should add warmth without taking much space. The drum is open at the top and the bottom, so light spills upward onto the wall and down through the cage, casting a pattern of fine lines across the table top. Black and copper together work well against grey, white or dark painted walls, and a pair either side of a bed looks considered without any fuss.
The frame is steel and the shade is fabric, with the copper lining catching the light whenever the lamp is lit. A cord switch sits on the cable, so you can turn it on and off from the table top without reaching under the shade. It runs on a 220-240V, 50/60Hz supply, which covers the standard mains in UK homes. Packed, it weighs 0.589KG, light enough to move from room to room as your needs change. The installation instructions come as a download, and they are worth a quick read before first use.
