Flat Linear LED Pendant Light - Black

Description

DescriptionWe stock the Flat Linear as a black LED pendant light for hanging over a table or island. It has a folded metal bar in a matt black finish with a gold interior, and an integrated 20W LED strip runs the full length of the bar to give 2480 lumens of warm white (3000K) light. The gold inner surface directs that output downward in a wide 120 degree spread, so the light falls across the surface below rather than washing the whole room.

This is a working light rather than an ambient one, so we would point you towards a dining table, a kitchen island or a desk where you want direct light on the surface. It hangs on adjustable cables from a circular black ceiling canopy, and you can set the drop to suit your ceiling height and the length of the table beneath it. The black exterior and gold interior sit happily in both contemporary and more industrial rooms.

The LED is integrated and runs the full length of the bar, so it is not a bulb you swap out; it is built into the fitting. This version is not dimmable, and it has a CRI of 80 with a 120 degree beam angle. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so keep it away from bathrooms and other damp spaces. It runs on 220 to 240V mains and needs fixing to a ceiling joist or a suitable anchor point.

Frequently AskedIs this pendant dimmable?

No. The integrated 20W LED runs at a fixed 2480 lumens of warm 3000K light, so it is not set up to dim on a wall dimmer.

Can I replace the LED if it fails?

The LED strip is integrated and runs the full length of the bar, so it is not a separate bulb you swap out. It is built into the fitting rather than replaceable on its own.

Where can I fit it?

It is rated IP20 for dry indoor areas only, so it suits a dining room, kitchen or office over a table, island or desk. We would not recommend it for a bathroom or any damp space.

How is it fixed and hung?

It hangs on adjustable cables from a circular black ceiling canopy, so you can set the drop to suit your ceiling and table. It needs fixing to a ceiling joist or a suitable anchor point and wiring to 220 to 240V mains.
