Palermo LED Bathroom Ceiling Light - Chrome

Description

DescriptionThe Palermo is a round, flush LED bathroom ceiling light in chrome, 22.5cm across and just 6cm deep, so it sits neatly against the ceiling and never feels heavy in a smaller room. A steel body in polished chrome frames a white painted satin glass diffuser, with two bright chrome bands and a slim ring of white glass between them. Light comes from three integrated LEDs of 3.6W each, every one giving 320 lumens at 3000K, a warm light. It is rated IP44, which means it is protected from splashing water, so it can go in a bathroom, where a qualified electrician will confirm the right zone.
This is a fitting made for the bathroom: a main ceiling light for a family bathroom, an en-suite or a cloakroom, where steam and splashes are part of every day. The low, round shape keeps the ceiling clean and uncluttered, and the chrome sits happily alongside chrome taps, towel rails and shower fittings, so the whole room reads as one finish. Because the glass is satin and painted white, the LEDs behind it show as a soft, even glow rather than bright points, which is kinder first thing in the morning. It suits anyone who wants a bathroom light that simply works, with nothing to adjust once it is fitted.
The LEDs are integrated into the body, so there is no bulb to choose or buy. The light is not dimmable and has no switch of its own; it is controlled from the wall switch. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. Packed, it weighs 2.04KG. Before ordering, check that the bathroom switch is a plain on and off switch, since a dimmer will not suit this light.
