Mini 8 Light Square Flush Ceiling Light - White

Description

Description
The Mini is a 600mm square flush ceiling light built around a white aluminium frame with an opal white acrylic diffuser covering 8 x E27 sockets. The 240mm total projection from the ceiling puts it in the low-profile category, suitable for rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights where a pendant would hang too low. Each of the eight E27 sockets accepts a standard Edison screw bulb (bulbs sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or filament depending on the colour temperature and light output needed.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms, open-plan kitchen-dining areas and hallways where general ambient light is needed without visual clutter, the Mini uses the opal diffuser to spread light evenly across the ceiling and into the room. The square geometry of the frame and diffuser works cleanly in contemporary interiors and in rooms where ceiling fittings align with structural beams or recessed ceiling panels. The white finish on the aluminium frame blends into white and off-white ceilings, making the fitting less visually dominant than metallic or contrasting finishes.

The 600mm footprint suits rooms of 15-25m² where a single central ceiling light provides the main illumination, typically living rooms of 4m x 5m or dining rooms of 3.5m x 4.5m. Smaller rooms may find the 600mm size too dominant; larger rooms may need supplementary lighting. The opal diffuser hides the bulbs from direct view and softens the light output, reducing glare when the fitting is seen from standing or seated positions. The 4.5kg weight requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or a properly rated ceiling rose capable of supporting the load.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does it take and are they included?

The Mini takes 8 x E27 (Edison screw) bulbs. Bulbs are sold separately. We suggest pairing this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for general ambient lighting in living or dining rooms.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, if fitted with dimmable bulbs and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. The fixture itself supports dimming, but both the bulbs and the dimmer must be rated for the total wattage of all eight bulbs combined.

What room size does it suit?

The 600mm square footprint and 8-bulb configuration work well in rooms of 15-25m², typical living rooms of 4m x 5m or dining rooms of 3.5m x 4.5m. Smaller rooms may find the fitting too large; larger rooms may need supplementary lighting.

Can it be fitted to a low ceiling?

Yes. The 240mm total projection from the ceiling makes it suitable for standard 2.4m ceiling heights where a pendant would hang too low. The flush-mount design keeps the fitting close to the ceiling plane.
