Merea Track Spotlight - White

Description

DescriptionThe Merea is a track spotlight with a slim cylindrical head, made from cast aluminium and finished in white. It is 18.5cm tall, 7.8cm long and 5.5cm wide, with a head 5.5cm in diameter, and it weighs just 0.29KG. It takes a single GU10 bulb, which is not included, so you choose the brightness and the warmth of the light yourself. Its IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms, away from water.
Because it fits onto a lighting track through its adapter, the Merea lets you place light exactly where a room needs it: over a dining table, along a hallway, onto a picture or across a bookcase. Several spotlights on one track light a whole room without a ceiling full of separate fittings, and the compact white head sits quietly against a white ceiling. It suits living rooms, studies, hallways and dining rooms, and anyone who likes a clean, modern look will find it sits well in most schemes.
The body is cast aluminium, a light metal that does not rust, which helps keep the whole spotlight to just 0.29KG on the track. The white finish is crisp and clean, and it pairs well with white track for a tidy, unbroken line across the ceiling. There is no switch on the spotlight itself, as it is switched at the wall. The installation instructions come as a download, so you can read them through before you order. One practical point: the GU10 bulb is not in the box, so pick one up at the same time.
