Flimarne LED Flush Ceiling Light - Black

Description

DescriptionThe Flimarne is an LED flush ceiling light made from a run of interlocking oval rings in a black finish. Each ring is lined with a white plastic diffuser, and the rings are gathered on a round canopy that sits against the ceiling. It measures 88cm long, 30cm wide and only 8cm high, so it keeps close to the ceiling and spreads its light across a long stretch of the room. The light source is integrated LED, drawing 38W and giving 4,400 lumens at a warm 3000K. It is rated IP20, which means it is made for dry rooms indoors, away from bathrooms, steam and the weather.
Because it sits so low against the ceiling, it suits rooms where a hanging pendant would crowd the space. That includes a dining room above a long table, a living room or a bedroom with a modest ceiling height. The long oval shape lines up neatly with a dining table or a sofa. At 4,400 lumens it gives plenty of light for a single fitting, so it can work as the main light in the room. The black rings give a strong graphic outline even when unlit, while the white diffusers soften the glow once it is lit.
The body is aluminium and steel, and aluminium is a light metal that resists corrosion. It offers three-step dimming, so you can choose a lower level for a relaxed evening meal. There is no switch on the light itself: it is switched at the wall, it runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains and it carries an energy class of E. Packed, it weighs 1.695KG. As a wired-in mains light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download, so your electrician can read them ahead of fitting day.
