4 Light Ceiling Canopy - Black

Description

Description
4 Light Ceiling Canopy is a ceiling canopy in black. A round black ceiling plate with four slim arms curving out and down from its rim like the legs of a spider, each ending in an open mouth where a flex can be taken away. A short stub drops from the centre of the plate for a fifth drop. The arms are plain round tube, bent in a single easy curve, and the plate is a shallow disc with a small hole at its middle. Everything is a flat matt black with no fixings visible from below. It spreads several pendants from one outlet. It has four arms and a centre outlet, so several pendants hang from one ceiling point.

The flexes meet inside it rather than crossing the ceiling to reach it, which is the whole point of using one. It is a part rather than a finished fitting, so it is bought alongside whatever it is going to carry or connect to rather than on its own. That is the point of buying the pieces separately: the shade, the flex and the holder are each chosen on their own, and a run can be made up to a length and a drop that no finished pendant would give you.

It is class II, double insulated, so it needs no earth, and it is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.
