La Seca LED Touch Table Lamp - White

Description

DescriptionThe La Seca is a slim LED touch table lamp in white plastic, with a flat head that hinges from the top of a tapered stem and a compact block base. It stands 26cm high and measures 20cm long and 5cm wide, so it takes very little room on a desk or a bedside table. The light comes from integrated LEDs drawing 1.8W and giving 170lm, a modest output for reading and close work rather than for lighting a whole room. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors and dry, away from bathrooms and sinks.
We think it suits a home office, a student's desk or a bedside where space is tight and a larger lamp would crowd things. Because the head hinges, you can angle the light towards a book or a keyboard and aim it where you are working. The three colour temperatures, 3000K, 4000K and 5000K, let you choose a warmer light for winding down in the evening or a cooler, crisper light for concentrating during the day. The white finish sits quietly against pale walls and light furniture, so it blends in rather than taking over a room.
The touch dimmer steps through three levels of brightness, so there is no fiddly switch to find in the dark, and the colour temperature adjusts as well. There is a USB port too. Plastic wipes clean easily, so a soft dry cloth is all the care it needs; keep it away from water, as the IP20 rating asks. Packed, it weighs 0.527KG, and the installation instructions are available as a download. Set it within easy reach, since the brightness is changed by touch.
