Tonic Rectangular Canopy Kit 1.1m Long - Black

Description

DescriptionA long, narrow black plate, 1100mm from end to end and only 80mm across, with five openings spaced along its length. What it does is simple: it gathers a run of pendant drops together so they read as one continuous line overhead rather than as separate scattered points. The depth is kept shallow, so the plate itself stays quiet and the flexes and shades below do the talking. It is a non-electrical accessory, a piece of hardware for use with pendants rather than a light in its own right.
The proportions point straight at long, narrow surfaces: a kitchen island, a dining table, a breakfast bar, a run of worktop, a reception desk. We reach for a canopy like this when someone has fallen for one pendant and wants a row of the same shade above a table, kept in a tidy line and switched as one. It suits modern rooms where the ceiling is plain and the interest is meant to hang below it. Keep it to dry indoor rooms; it is not intended for bathroom zones or anywhere exposed to the weather.
The finish is a flat black across the whole plate, which lets it disappear against a dark ceiling and read as a clean bar against a pale one. Weight is modest for its length. Cleaning asks very little: a dry duster along the top face once in a while, since black shows a film of dust sooner than most finishes, and nothing damp or abrasive. It carries a one year warranty. We stock this range in round plates as well as rectangular ones, and in longer versions with more openings, so a matching canopy can usually be found for a wider table or a bigger cluster. Pendants are bought separately.

Frequently AskedHow many pendant drops does this canopy hold?
Five. There are five openings spaced along the plate, one for each drop.
What are the overall dimensions?
It measures 1100mm long, 80mm wide and 30mm deep.
Is the canopy itself a light?
No. It is a non-electrical accessory, supplied to work with pendants rather than to light a room on its own.
How should I clean it?
A dry, soft cloth along the visible faces is all it needs. Avoid damp cloths, sprays and any abrasive cream, which will dull the black finish.
Are other canopy sizes in this range available?
Yes. We stock rectangular plates in other lengths and hole counts, including 850 x 80mm and larger 300mm deep versions, plus round plates at 40cm and 60cm.
Does it come with a warranty?
It carries a one year warranty.
